What happens to your question?

Your request is transmitted to Mistral AI (France, EU servers).
If you use voice input, the recording is transmitted to Gladia (France) for transcription — under its contractual terms, Gladia may also use sub-processors outside the EU. The spoken answer is generated by Mistral AI. If you type, no audio data is sent.
If you attach a file (photo or PDF), it is only read to answer you and never stored — images are transmitted to Mistral AI for this; only the file name, type and size remain in the log.
A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Mistral.
This chat uses European providers. US providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) are used exclusively in the comparison chats on our RAG comparison page, where they are clearly disclosed.

What we store

This website uses no cookies; our self-hosted analytics (Matomo) works cookie-free with shortened IP addresses.
For quality assurance we log questions and answers together with technical values (language, response time, token count); your IP address is stored only as a hashed check value, never in plain text. Chat logs are deleted after 90 days.

What you should keep in mind

Do not enter sensitive data: passwords, credentials, health data, bank details.
The chat is a support service — not legal, tax, or medical advice.
Answers may contain errors. For important matters, please talk to us directly.

Legal basis

Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a convenient website search). Using the chat is voluntary.
