As a small but growing team, we are looking for freelance reinforcement for exciting projects in the TYPO3 environment.
Your tasks
Your TYPO3 development & customization
- Development and maintenance of TYPO3 websites (knowledge of older versions is an advantage).
- Creation and customization of TYPO3 extensions
- Integration of frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript).
- Carrying out TYPO3 updates and security patches.
Your profile
Experience & skills
- At least 2 years of experience with TYPO3
- Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, JavaScript/jQuery.
- Experience with TYPO3 extensions (e.g. EXT:form, EXT:news, EXT:powermail).
- Knowledge of TYPO3 Fluid templates and TYPO3 backend customizations.
- Basic knowledge of Linux server administration (Apache/Nginx, SSH, cron jobs).
- Knowledge of Composer or the TYPO3 Install Tool.
- Security awareness (GDPR, HTTPS, updates).
Bonus points
- Experience with TYPO3 9–14
- Experience with Git/GitLab/GitHub.
- Affinity for accessibility (WCAG) and SEO optimization.
Soft skills
- Independent working style and organizational skills.
- Good German and English skills (spoken and written).
- Strong communication skills and teamwork.

Your responsibilities
AI development & integration
- Development and implementation of AI solutions for websites (e.g. chatbots, search functions, content recycling).
- API integration with LLMs (e.g. Mistral, OpenAI) and other AI services.
- Development of AI extensions for TYPO3 (e.g. automated text generation, predictive analytics).
- Optimisation of AI models for performance and accuracy.
Frontend & backend
- Data preparation and analysis for AI models.
- Security, legal compliance or GDPR compliance (GDPR, accessibility, secure data storage).
Project work & consulting
- Client consulting on AI technologies and their possible applications.
- Project management in coordination with the team.
- Documentation and training for clients.
Your profile
Experience & skills
- Experience in developing AI solutions (e.g. with Python).
- Knowledge of NLP (Natural Language Processing) and LLMs (Large Language Models).
- Experience with API integration (e.g. OpenAI, Mistral).
Bonus points
- Experience with data analysis and predictive analytics.
- Experience with AI in web applications (e.g. chatbots, recommendation systems, automated text generation).
